I’ve been meaning to go to the great chase for a while but it never worked out. I’ve finally grabbed a Saturday night reservation. The place was hopping but the service was immaculate! I really enjoyed the experience. For two people, we ordered the lamb croquettes and charred broccolinis as apps, the Wellington as main, and shared the chocolate mousse for dessert. The lemon twist deserves a paragraph of its own. Would definitely recommend a reservation as all tables were full. Sarah Bouyabes I had a wonderful experience at The Great Chase. The beef Wellington was exceptionally delicious, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The drinks were slightly on the pricier side, but they were enjoyable and well-presented. The highlight of the evening was the sticky toffee pudding, which was incredibly tasty and a perfect finish to the meal. Overall, a highly enjoyable visit and I would happily return. Every member of staff was knowledgeable and made the evening feel special.The food was equally impressive. The beef Wellington was beautifully cooked, rich, and full of flavour, with perfectly balanced textures. The sea bass was fresh, light, and expertly prepared, showcasing real attention to detail.A fantastic restaurant that delivers both incredible food and first-class service. The lamb roast was tender and flavorful, while the dry-aged beef was simply exceptional — rich, perfectly cooked, and full of depth. Service was top-tier: professional, warm, and attentive without being overbearing. Every detail, from the food to the presentation, was impeccable. To finish it all off we tried the sticky toffee pudding and oh my god I was blown away.! It a must try.. ❤️❤️ Truly a top-notch spot. Highly recommended.
