Our platform blends a FastAPI‑driven backend, a modular Next.js application layer, offline‑first reading environments, encrypted save files, token‑locked access, and the Mudiera Signature UI. We are expanding our engineering team with someone who understands not just testing—but *how Mudiera works under the hood*. If you thrive in clean architecture, deterministic behaviour, and privacy‑respecting systems, you’ll feel at home here. --- # **✨ Role: Quality Assurance Engineer (Mudiera Ecosystem)** ## **What You’ll Do** - Develop and maintain automated and manual test suites across the entire Mudiera stack (FastAPI backend, Next.js frontend, local reader engine, encrypted storage modules). - Validate the reliability of Mudiera’s offline‑first reading system, including: - Local bookshelf logic - Encrypted annotation/highlighting workflows - Token‑protected access flows - Test authentication and identity flows across Mudiera’s hybrid FastAPI–Next.js architecture. - Ensure deterministic behaviour across all modules—no flaky tests, no ambiguous states. - Collaborate with engineering to enforce Mudiera’s privacy‑first principles in every feature. - Build internal QA tools and scripts to simulate real‑world usage, including: - Token expiry - Network loss - Local storage corruption - Multi‑device sync - Validate UI/UX consistency with the Mudiera Signature Design System. - Perform regression testing before every release and maintain a clean, reliable CI pipeline. - Document test cases, edge cases, and system behaviours with clarity and precision. --- # **🛠 Required Skills & Experience** - Strong experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, PyTest). - Solid understanding of: - FastAPI - Next.js - TypeScript - Python - Local storage APIs - Encryption basics - Ability to write clean, modular test scripts aligned with Mudiera’s architecture. - Experience testing offline‑first or hybrid local/cloud applications. - Familiarity with secure authentication flows (JWT, token refresh, session hydration). - Strong debugging skills across frontend, backend, and local runtime environments. - Comfort working in a privacy‑first, data‑minimal engineering culture. --- # **🌟 Bonus Points** - Experience with e‑reader or annotation systems. - Understanding of deterministic UI state machines. - Knowledge of Mudiera’s design philosophy and brand principles. - Ability to propose improvements to architecture, not just test it. --- # **💼 Why Join Mudiera** - Build a platform that respects users, privacy, and faith‑aligned values. - Work in a modular, elegant engineering environment. - Shape the future of encrypted digital reading and knowledge ecosystems. - Collaborate with a team that values clarity, precision, and craftsmanship.
